Make the most of your product page to skyrocket sales

Product images

Product images are attractive and of a high resolution (470 x 470 pixels for images and 1100 x 1100 pixels for zooming). There are several images from different angles.

Images are compressed and optimized so as not to slow your Magento performance.

Zooming is enabled. Allow customers to enlarge images so as to view details of a product.

360 degree view of products is enabled

Product Video

Videos are enabled on product pages. They are 1-2 min long and stick to the point.

It provides full product overview or shows its most essential features.

Videos don’t autoplay and are supplemented with a description.

Product Description

The title includes keywords

The descriptions are informative and unique. It includes summary about the product and full details. Add key words that describe the product. Highlight why customer should buy it.

Product descriptions are readable and organized properly. Use bullet points, paragraphs, italics, bold style.

A detailed description follows a short one for complex products.

Additional product info is provided if it’s necessary or important. E.g. if you sell computer, technology items, etc.

Product Price

Price is final and easy to see. It including VAT, delivery, savings, etc.

Sales and Special Offers are visible. A customer clearly sees if the stuff is currently on sale or goes at a special price. Use a larger font size or a different color (red is more common and attention-grabbing).

“Add to cart” button is displayed at a most frequently viewed area: upper or left-to right quadrat of a page.

No red color for buttons/ call-to-actions as it discourages customers to make an action at unconscious level.

Product Reviews and Ratings

Products are supplemented with real user reviews.

“Add Your Review” or “Be the first to review this product” links are enabled.

Reviews raise trust. Occasional negative reviews are possible.

Reviews are supplemented with photos if possible.

“Add To Cart” button

Price and “Add-to-cart” button are close to each other.

‘Added to cart’ confirmation appears once a customer adds a product to cart. After that next steps are offered: “Proceed to check out” or “Continue shopping”.

Add to cart button is easy to find at first glance. The button stands out in color and size.

Cross-sells, up-sells and related products are enabled.

SEO optimization

Product images have unique name and include a keyword.

Each product title is unique and includes a long tail keyword.

There are no duplicate products even if you offer the same product in different supply, color, model, etc.

Product Meta Titles & Descriptions are added for each product.

URLs contain keywords.

Social Media

Social Links are enabled including Facebook, Twitter, Google+, etc.
